God brought me to Truro Alliance Church back in the year 2000 when I was living outside of His will for me through the sins I had committed against Him. I was scooped up by the folks at TAC, accepted for who I was and seen for who I could become. They prayed for me, encouraged me and discipled me by patiently walking with me while God worked on my heart. Through the years, the Lord has transformed my life and my story because of the grace He continually pours out on me. I am grateful for the new beginning I was given when I married Bob and we have been in a God blessed, beautiful, ever-growing, bumpy-yet-committed relationship since 2003. I bring all of this to bear on my church family connections and in everyday life, knowing that because of Christ, God makes beautiful things out of the messes that I came from. I am grateful for Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
