AWANA is an enthusiastic, fun program filled with teaching, singing, scripture, and games and SO MANY fantastic AWARDS! Badges, emblems, jewels, medallions, trophies and so much more!
AWANA is a program which Truro Alliance Church (195 Truro Heights Rd) puts on for children preschool age to grade 6 every Wednesday evening from 6:30 – 7:45! The church is backing the program so ALL KIDS CAN ATTEND FOR FREE!
Cubbies Ages 3 – 5 Sparks – Grades Primary – 2 Truth & Training – Grades 3 – 6
NOTE TO PARENTS: AWANA is cancelled if school is cancelled. Late notices of cancellations due to inclement weather will be posted on the main page of our website.

AWANA Sunday Gathering
On Sunday February 9th, 2025, we held our VERY FIRST kid focused SUNDAY gathering meeting with our AWANA clubbers for a bonus of 100 points for all who attend our church OR any church they regularly attend. We handed out an AWANA Sunday card with clubbers name on it for a church member (pastor, deacon, elder, or same attending AWANA leader) to sign off for your 100 bonus points!
The Awana clubbers in our Sunday gathering wore their uniform, sang a song, shared some Bible verses and they were encouraged to bring family with them. We had a very good turn out for our first time event and we are excited to continue this new tradition as part of our AWANA program for BONUS POINTS!!
